Jerry Seinfeld creates new TV show “The Marriage Ref”
Do you hate your in-laws? Are you embarrassed about how poorly your spouse dresses? Can’t agree how to discipline the kids? Then it sounds like you’re a prime candidate for Jerry Seinfeld’s latest endeavor, a TV show called “The Marriage Ref.”
Though Seinfeld isn’t the “marriage ref” himself, he did come up with the idea and teamed up with NBC, the executive producer of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and the producers of “Supernanny” for this latest reality TV series. Seinfeld will be far too busy with his current comedy tour, which runs January to May.
“The Marriage Ref” premiers on March 14, with a panel of “experts” made up of comedians, celebrities and athletes who will listen to both sides of the argument and offer their own advice, however sound that may be. (Here’s hoping Tiger Woods, Eliot Spitzer or David Letterman don’t make the panel!)
